Patrra is a personal document vault that helps you store, organise, and get reminders about important documents — bills, warranties, insurance policies, prescriptions, and more. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — name and email address when you sign up via Microsoft Entra External ID.
  • Documents you upload — files and the structured data our AI extracts from them (issuer, dates, amounts, document type, etc.).
  • Usage data — basic activity such as searches, folders, tags, and reminder preferences, used to operate and improve the product.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Store and organise your documents securely.
  • Extract structured data using AI so your documents are searchable and reminders can be sent.
  • Send expiry reminders by email (and WhatsApp where enabled).
  • Provide natural-language search across your own documents.
  • Maintain account security and an audit trail of access to your data.

We do not sell your personal information or your documents to third parties.

4. Data storage and security

Documents are stored using encrypted cloud storage, and access is isolated per user account. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

5. Sharing

Your documents are private to your account by default. If you choose to use shared links or household sharing, the people you explicitly invite will be able to access what you share. We may use trusted third-party services (such as cloud storage, email delivery, and AI processing providers) solely to operate Patrra on your behalf.

6. Your choices

  • You can view, edit, or delete your documents at any time from within the app.
  • You can turn off reminder notifications from your account settings.
  • You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know through the app or by email.
